About the Role
Creseada International Limited is a trusted leader in the dynamic logistics and freight-forwarding industry, delivering innovative, cost-effective, and integrated supply chain solutions across Nigeria. We are currently seeking an experienced, highly disciplined, and strategic Chief Security Officer (CSO) to lead our corporate security function, safeguard our assets, and ensure the safety of our personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect company assets, warehouses, fleet, and personnel across all operational locations and transit corridors.
- Lead threat assessments, vulnerability studies, and route-risk evaluations to secure logistics operations throughout Nigeria.
- Manage investigations into cargo theft, pilferage, and security breaches, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal business disruption.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with local law enforcement, military authorities, and external security agencies.
- Oversee outsourced security providers, evaluating their performance and enforcing strict adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Deliver actionable security intelligence and timely incident reports to executive management.
- Design and implement security awareness programs and training for all staff members.
- Retired or serving-transitioning senior officer from the Nigerian Armed Forces, Nigeria Police Force, or recognized security and intelligence formations.
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in military intelligence, police operations, investigations, or corporate security leadership.
- Proven background in logistics, transportation, haulage, freight forwarding, or other asset-intensive industries.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Security Management, Criminology, Law, Military/Strategic Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of Nigeria's security landscape, geopolitical zones, and major transportation routes.
- Exceptional leadership, crisis management, negotiation, and report-writing skills.
- High level of personal integrity, discipline, discretion, and willingness to travel as required.
