About the Role

Mshel Homes Limited is a leading independent real estate company located in Abuja, Nigeria, dedicated to delivering dream homes and exceptional infrastructure. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chief Project Manager to lead our construction and infrastructure portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and GMD/CEO, this senior executive role requires a seasoned professional to manage multi-project execution, ensure adherence to strict HSE standards, and drive commercial success across all Group construction activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the Group's overall project management strategy and provide executive leadership to the Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycles from feasibility, planning, and mobilization through execution, commissioning, and handover.
  • Direct Construction Managers, Project Managers, and site engineers, overseeing change control, variations, and contractual terms.
  • Take overall ownership of project budgets, drive cost optimization, and manage multi-million Naira construction portfolios.
  • Enforce rigorous Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and quality management systems across all active project sites.
  • Serve as the primary executive interface for external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, government agencies, and consultants.
  • Mentor, develop, and evaluate a multi-disciplinary project management team to foster a high-performance culture.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field (Master's degree is preferred).
  • Mandatory Chartered Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2 Practitioner, or equivalent).
  • COREN or NSE registration is highly preferred, along with FIDIC Contract Management certification.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in civil and construction project delivery with a strong track record in general contracting.
  • At least 10 years in a senior managerial role with demonstrable P&L responsibility and multi-project oversight.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen, strategic thinking, leadership skills, and proficiency in project management software like MS Project or Primavera.
