About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive team in Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing our day-to-day operations, ensuring maximum efficiency, robust compliance, and sustained profitability across our diverse business units.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and manage daily operations across petroleum products marketing, waste management, pollution control, haulage, and marine services.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute business strategies aligned with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to Nigerian and international environmental, health, and safety standards, particularly within waste management and petroleum operations.
- Monitor organizational budgets, optimize resource allocation, and drive cost efficiency across all business units.
- Identify lucrative opportunities for business expansion in petroleum supply, environmental consultancy, and marine logistics.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with regulators, key clients, industry partners, and community stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop senior managers to foster a high-performance culture rooted in accountability and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of comprehensive experience in Oil and Gas, waste management, or environmental consultancy.
- At least 7 years serving in a senior executive leadership capacity.
- Deep understanding of petroleum marketing, pollution control technologies, marine logistics, and relevant Nigerian regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams, manage complex operational matrices, and deliver exceptional results in challenging environments.
