About the Role
Havana Group is seeking an exceptional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. This is not a conventional finance role. While rigorous financial stewardship sits at the core of your mandate, you will operate as a key growth architect bridging financial operations with capital strategy, investor engagement, and business development across the Nigerian market.
Key Responsibilities- Lead comprehensive financial management, strategic reporting, budgeting, payroll administration, treasury operations, audits, and internal controls.
- Ensure strict regulatory compliance with Nigerian tax laws, FIRS, LIRS, CAMA regulations, and IFRS reporting standards.
- Drive proactive investor sourcing, high-stakes fundraising, negotiations, and maintain robust investor relations.
- Partner closely with the executive team to support long-term strategic planning, risk management, and overall business growth.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, alongside an active professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA.
- At least 4 years of progressive finance experience, with a proven track record in executive leadership.
- Exceptional expertise in advanced financial modelling, capital raising, and investor relations.
