About the Role
Foteino Talento is recruiting a strategic and commercially astute Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on behalf of a well-established laundry and dry-cleaning services business operating nine strategically located facilities across Lagos. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will partner closely with the Founder and CEO to drive financial performance, business expansion, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability. This executive role takes overall ownership of the group's financial strategy, treasury management, risk governance, taxation, internal controls, and data-driven commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies to support aggressive business growth and multi-site expansion across Lagos.
- Lead the end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting processes.
- Oversee cash flow optimization, treasury operations, tax compliance, and robust financial controls.
- Deliver actionable commercial insights to guide strategic pricing, capital investments, and profitability initiatives.
- Strengthen organizational governance, internal risk management, and statutory compliance frameworks.
- Drive continuous process improvement, digital financial systems upgrades, and overall operational efficiency.
- Mentor, build, and lead a high-performing corporate finance and accounting team.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or recognized equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, with proven executive leadership tenure as a CFO, Finance Director, or Head of Finance.
- Demonstrated industry background within FMCG, retail, consumer-facing markets, or multi-site operational environments.
- Advanced expertise in financial planning, statutory IFRS reporting, treasury management, and corporate taxation.
- Hands-on proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, with SAP experience being a distinct advantage.
