About the Role
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our esteemed organization in Nigeria. In this executive leadership role, you will steer the company's financial strategy, optimize financial performance, and provide critical insights to drive key business decisions, investments, and expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the company's financial strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts function to achieve operational excellence.
- Prepare and oversee annual budgets, financial forecasts, and management accounts.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, revenue, expenditure, and profitability.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Establish and maintain effective internal financial controls and risk management measures.
- Oversee tax planning, statutory payments, and full compliance with Nigerian financial regulations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve findings proactively.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue improvement, and increased profitability.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other financial stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Must be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant and an active member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience, with substantial senior-level financial management exposure.
- Extensive knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Proven expertise in strategic financial planning, budgeting, treasury, and ERP software proficiency.
