About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI) is a prolific organization that proffers HR and Management Consultancy solutions premised on excellence and innovation. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chief Accountant to spearhead our finance department and ensure sound financial health across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Finance and Accounts Department, ensuring accurate general ledger management.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements alongside comprehensive management reports.
- Manage annual budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow projections, and variance analysis.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, including VAT, WHT, PAYE, and Company Income Tax.
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes and implement robust internal financial controls.
- Supervise, train, and mentor members of the accounting team to drive peak performance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ACA is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with proven supervisory or management capacity.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
