We are currently seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and driven Chemistry Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators and inspire the next generation of scientific minds.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Chemistry lessons in accordance with the approved national and secondary school curriculum.
- Develop robust lesson plans that incorporate practical laboratory experiments, critical thinking exercises, and real-world applications of chemical principles.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to ensure academic success.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to foster a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment for all students.
- Prepare students adequately for internal examinations as well as major external assessments such as WAEC, NECO, and UTME.
- Participate actively in parent-teacher conferences, departmental meetings, school events, and continuous professional development programs.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Bachelor of Education in Chemistry, or a closely related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience handling Chemistry at the high school level.
- Sound knowledge of current Nigerian secondary school science curricula and modern pedagogical approaches.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills with a genuine passion for youth development.
- TRCN registration or certification is an added advantage.
