Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging chemistry lessons aligned with the national secondary school curriculum.
  • Conduct practical laboratory experiments safely and effectively to enhance students' theoretical understanding.
  • Assess, monitor, and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
  • Prepare students adequately for internal and external examinations such as WASSCE, NECO, and UTME.
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment within the laboratory and classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and the student welfare unit to support the holistic development of every child.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Education (Chemistry), or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience teaching chemistry at the secondary school level in Nigeria.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian secondary education curricula and examination requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing modern educational technology to enhance teaching and learning.
