Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive theoretical and practical Chemistry lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
  • Prepare secondary school students effectively for both internal assessments and major external examinations.
  • Conduct safe and informative laboratory practical sessions to foster hands-on scientific learning.
  • Assess, monitor, record, and report on the individual progress, development, and attainment of students.
  • Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop science curricula and participate in school-wide academic and extracurricular activities.
  • Uphold the core values and standards of Noble Guide Academy while mentoring students toward holistic growth.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Education/Chemistry, or a closely related field.
  • A Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or equivalent teaching certification is a distinct advantage.
  • At least 2 years of verifiable teaching experience at the secondary school level.
  • Prior experience teaching Chemistry within a Cambridge Associate School setting will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver both theoretical concepts and engaging practical laboratory sessions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer and digital literacy skills for modern classroom instruction.
