About the Role
Perfect Mind Schools is a prominent educational institution located in Osun State, Nigeria, with vibrant campuses in Osogbo and the Boredun district (Ilase-Ijesa). Established in September 2016, our institution is widely recognized for seamlessly combining high-quality secular academic standards with foundational Islamic moral values. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join our dynamic team and inspire the next generation of scientific thinkers.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, well-structured Chemistry lessons to secondary school students in accordance with the approved Nigerian and international curricula.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and laboratory experiments that foster hands-on learning and critical thinking.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback and individualized support to improve academic performance.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating classroom and laboratory environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.
- Participate actively in school-wide meetings, professional development workshops, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular activities.
- Instill strong moral, ethical, and Islamic values in students in alignment with the ethos of Perfect Mind Schools.
- Minimum qualifications include a BSc, HND, NCE, or relevant certification with proven teaching experience.
- Higher educational qualifications (such as a B.Ed or M.Sc in Chemistry or related fields) will serve as an added advantage.
- Applicants must currently reside in or around Oke Baale in Osogbo, Boredun, Ilase-Ijesa, or nearby locations within Osun State for easy daily commute.
