Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, well-structured Chemistry lessons to secondary school students in alignment with the approved curriculum.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and practical laboratory sessions to enhance understanding.
- Assess and evaluate students' academic progress through quizzes, assignments, examinations, and constructive feedback.
- Maintain a disciplined, safe, and positive classroom and laboratory management environment conducive to learning.
- Mentor students spiritually and morally in line with the Christian values and ethos of the school.
- Participate in school co-curricular activities, staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development programs.
- Minimum of an NCE, B.Ed, or B.Sc. in Chemistry or a related educational field.
- Proven teaching experience with a strong track record of effective classroom management and student engagement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for teaching and youth development.
