About the Role

We are currently looking for a passionate and result-oriented Chemistry Teacher to join our esteemed faculty. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping students' scientific minds, fostering a deep understanding of chemical concepts, and ensuring exceptional academic performance in external examinations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging, comprehensive, and interactive Chemistry lessons for Senior Secondary School students in alignment with the Nigerian and international curricula.
- Prepare students thoroughly for major examinations including UTME (JAMB), WAEC (WASSCE), and NECO.
- Design, administer, and grade quizzes, tests, and laboratory practical assessments to monitor student progress.
- Provide individualized support and mentorship to students needing extra help with complex chemical equations and concepts.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating laboratory and classroom environment conducive to active learning.
- Collaborate with fellow department members to review curriculum materials and enhance science program offerings.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), or equivalent in Chemistry or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven experience teaching Chemistry at the Senior Secondary School level.
- In-depth knowledge of WAEC, NECO, and UTME syllabi and examination standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Strong passion for education and the ability to inspire high academic achievement.
- Valid TRCN (Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria) certification will be an added advantage.
