Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons aligned with both Nigerian and British curricula
- Conduct practical laboratory sessions with proper safety protocols and equipment management
- Assess student progress through continuous evaluation and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and comprehension
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an interdisciplinary learning environment
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programmes
- B.Ed, B.Sc, or HND qualification in Chemistry or related science discipline
- PGDE (Post Graduate Diploma in Education) in Chemistry or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum 2 years of secondary school teaching experience
- TRCN (Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria) certification (advantageous)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent classroom management and organisational abilities
- Proficiency in English language (written and spoken)
