About the Role
Divine Infinity College is seeking a dedicated and qualified Chemistry Teacher to join our dynamic secondary school team in delivering a broad, balanced curriculum that fosters academic excellence and scientific curiosity.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons tailored to diverse learning styles and secondary school abilities.
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with WAEC and NECO curriculum requirements.
- Conduct and supervise practical laboratory sessions while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress through continuous evaluations, tests, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain transparent communication with parents and guardians.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues on departmental planning, staff meetings, and school activities.
- Possession of an NCE, B.Ed, or B.Sc in Chemistry, Education, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven teaching experience within a reputable secondary school setting.
- Thorough understanding of Nigerian secondary curriculum standards and WAEC/NECO exam preparation.
- Strong competence in managing and supervising safe school laboratory activities.
