We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Chemistry Teacher to join our esteemed faculty in Oke-Ira, Ogba, Lagos. In this role, you will inspire students, foster a deep appreciation for the sciences, and maintain our high standards of academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Chemistry lessons aligned with the approved curriculum.
- Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to help learners achieve their full potential.
- Design and supervise laboratory experiments, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school-wide extracurricular activities.
- Uphold the Christian values and ethos of Daffodils International School while mentoring students in moral and academic development.
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), or related degree in Chemistry or Science Education.
- Proven teaching experience within a reputable primary or secondary school setting.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian and international secondary school science curricula.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
