Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor various sections of the production line from the Central Control Room (CCR) to ensure precision and adherence to cement production standards.
  • Provide relevant operational information, direction, and feedback to patrollers, operators, and shift coordinators on the production line.
  • Monitor and control plant process lines to guarantee stable equipment operation, employee safety, and strict compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Log process data at specified intervals, documenting and reporting operational activities accurately.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot potential operating problems independently or in consultation with engineers and section heads to resume production swiftly.
  • Continuously review the plant automation system and recommend improvements based on industry best practices.
  • Supervise casual staff to ensure all conveyor belts remain clean and free from jamming, helping achieve daily clinker and cement production targets.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemical and Processing Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional working experience in a relevant operational or CCR role within a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of plant automation systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to coordinate effectively with cross-functional shift teams.
  • Proven commitment to safety protocols and environmental regulations in an industrial setting.
