We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Charging Attendant to join our dynamic team and ensure the smooth, efficient operation of our electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Victoria Island.
Key Responsibilities- Operate EV charging stations and charging equipment safely and efficiently according to established standards.
- Connect and disconnect vehicles from charging points following approved safety procedures.
- Monitor active charging sessions, battery levels, charging time, and overall energy consumption.
- Ensure that all fleet vehicles are sufficiently charged and ready before scheduled deployment.
- Prioritize vehicle charging based on daily operational requirements and dispatch schedules.
- Prevent unauthorized use of charging equipment and maintain site security.
- Maintain accurate records of all charging sessions, including electricity consumption, charging duration, vehicle details, and battery levels.
- Prepare comprehensive daily charging reports for management review.
- Monitor charging station utilization rates and promptly report any technical irregularities or equipment faults.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in EV charging operations, electrical systems, fleet management, automotive services, or a related field.
- Candidates with strong technical aptitude and relevant vocational training in electrical or mechanical disciplines will also be considered.
- Proximity to Victoria Island, Lagos, is required for seamless commute and shift management.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent record-keeping and reporting abilities.
- Ability to work safely with electrical equipment and adhere strictly to safety protocols.
