About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Brewing Maintenance Planner to join our professional engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing relevant maintenance systems, optimizing spares management, generating routine and planned maintenance schedules, and providing critical support to the maintenance teams to ensure optimal plant efficiency and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate and lead planned maintenance pre- and post-mortem meetings to review required work, document lessons learned, and address operational problems.
- Plan, prioritize, and schedule all required routine and ad-hoc maintenance tasks, determining accurate resource requirements.
- Collaborate with departmental heads to secure necessary resources, coordinate process artisans, and manage resource allocation during shutdowns.
- Apply structured problem-solving approaches to resolve equipment issues, escalating to engineers when necessary and participating as a functional expert in asset care sessions.
- Analyze the SAP maintenance system to identify recurring equipment issues, recommend schedule enhancements, and ensure all asset care standards are strictly met.
- Ensure all required permits to work are in place and oversee the successful execution of maintenance and cleaning days as well as annual shutdown programs.
- Minimum of a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent professional qualification.
- 3 to 5 years of solid production engineering and maintenance planning experience within a manufacturing or brewing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SAP maintenance systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
- In-depth knowledge of brewing and utilities plant equipment, maintenance processes, and industry best practices.
