About the Role
Beiersdorf, the global powerhouse behind iconic skincare brands like NIVEA, Eucerin, and Hansaplast, is seeking an experienced and driven CEWA Medical Manager to join our growing team. In this strategic role, you will lead and execute the medical strategy for Eucerin across Central and West Africa, specifically focusing on markets like Nigeria and Kenya. You will translate global scientific priorities into impactful local plans, strengthen our scientific credibility, and drive sustainable business growth through healthcare professional engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the CEWA Medical Strategy and annual country plans aligned with global and regional brand priorities.
- Lead, coach, and manage the Medical Detailing team to ensure ethical, compliant, and high-quality field execution.
- Design and deliver comprehensive scientific training and onboarding for medical detailers, sales representatives, and dermo-consultants.
- Build strategic, long-lasting partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), medical societies, universities, and healthcare institutions.
- Lead annual congress participation, scientific advisory boards, and professional engagement programs.
- Review and approve scientific claims, marketing materials, and digital content to ensure strict regulatory compliance and accuracy.
- Identify local evidence gaps and support clinical studies, real-world evidence initiatives, and scientific publications.
- A degree in Medicine or Health Sciences is strictly required; additional qualifications in dermatology, public health, or business are a strong advantage.
- 3 to 4 years of solid experience in Medical Affairs, medical detailing, pharmaceuticals, or the dermocosmetics industry.
- Demonstrated experience in people management, coaching, and leading high-performing field teams.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills with full fluency in English.
