About the Role
Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified manufacturing conglomerate, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Central Control Room (CCR) Operator to join our dynamic team at Dangote Cement Plc. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the seamless operation of our production lines, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to top-tier industry standards from our central hub.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and control plant processes including kilns, raw mills, and cement mills from the Central Control Room to ensure optimal production efficiency.
- Provide real-time guidance and actionable information to field operators, patrollers, and shift engineers to maintain smooth operations.
- Diagnose equipment anomalies and troubleshoot potential operational bottlenecks independently or in collaboration with technical teams.
- Log accurate process data, maintain detailed operational records, and prepare concise shift reports.
- Enforce strict compliance with environmental regulations, safety protocols, and company operational standards.
- Supervise auxiliary staff to ensure clean production units and prevent conveyor belt jamming.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Processing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a CCR operating environment, preferably within cement manufacturing or heavy process industries.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and sound analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
