About the Role
Artee Group, a leading name in the Nigerian retail and consumption sector encompassing popular brands like SPAR, is looking for a dedicated CCTV Operator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding our premises, assets, employees, and customers by maintaining rigorous surveillance and swift incident response.
Key Responsibilities- Continuously monitor multiple CCTV cameras and video feeds in real-time to detect suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Maintain situational awareness and promptly notify security personnel, law enforcement, or emergency services during incidents.
- Record, document, and maintain accurate logs of all observed incidents, activities, and actions taken during shifts.
- Review previous footage, report findings immediately to the Store Chief Security Officer (CSO), and log details for future reference.
- Communicate effectively with the Store Manager, CSO, and team members using radios, phones, or other devices.
- Inspect and ensure the proper functioning of CCTV equipment, reporting technical faults promptly to the IT department.
- Adhere strictly to company privacy policies, legal regulations, and confidentiality guidelines related to surveillance.
- Proven experience as a CCTV Operator or in a similar physical security monitoring role within retail or corporate environments.
- Strong observation skills with high attention to detail and ability to multi-task under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with co-employees and management.
- Demonstrated high level of integrity, reliability, and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
