About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is currently recruiting a skilled and dedicated Catheterization Laboratory Nurse on behalf of our esteemed healthcare client in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will deliver exceptional, patient-centered nursing care within a fast-paced cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes and patient safety during complex cardiovascular procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialized nursing care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Assist medical teams with coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), pacemaker implantation, and other advanced cardiac interventions.
- Monitor patients continuously, tracking haemodynamic and cardiac parameters to promptly identify and manage potential complications.
- Demonstrate high competence in health management, vascular access, haemostasis, conscious sedation, and comprehensive post-procedure care.
- Support emergency interventions actively, including cardiac arrest management and emergency PCI protocols.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid professional nursing registration and license to practice in Nigeria.
- Relevant postgraduate qualification in cardiac, critical care, perioperative, or Cath Lab nursing.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of dedicated Cath Lab or interventional cardiology nursing experience.
- Proven hands-on experience with pacemaker and CIED procedures is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable expertise in PCI, coronary angiography, sheath management, vascular access, haemostasis, and conscious sedation.
- Prior experience with electrophysiology, ablation, or structural heart procedures will be a significant advantage.
