In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping while delivering a seamless and welcoming experience to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will combine strong numerical proficiency with excellent interpersonal skills to support our daily retail and business operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Handle daily cash, POS, and transfer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain daily sales records, reconcile cash drawers, and prepare accurate financial reports.
- Greet customers warmly, address inquiries, and provide information about products and services.
- Cross-sell company products and upsell services to help meet branch sales targets.
- Resolve customer complaints and billing discrepancies promptly and professionally.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with the sales and inventory teams to monitor stock levels and report discrepancies.
- Possession of a relevant National Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Proven work experience as a cashier, sales representative, or in a similar customer-facing role.
- Exceptional numerical accuracy and high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) software, computers, and basic office applications.
