About the Role

We are currently looking for a vibrant and customer-oriented Cashier to join our dynamic retail team at our branch in Akure, Ondo State. In this role, you will serve as the primary touchpoint for our customers, ensuring efficient point-of-sale operations, excellent customer service, and overall satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers warmly and manage cash, POS, and digital payment transactions accurately.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints professionally, and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Attend to bulk purchase orders efficiently, coordinating with the logistics and sales teams.
- Redirect online customers to the appropriate physical outlets or relevant branch locations.
- De-escalate challenging customer situations with patience and problem-solving skills.
- Support general sales operations and contribute to maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout counter and surrounding retail area.
- Female candidate preferred.
- Minimum of OND, SSCE, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Proven experience working as a cashier, retail sales associate, or customer service representative.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Basic math skills and high attention to detail for handling cash transactions.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Must reside in or be readily able to commute to Akure, Ondo State.
