About the Role
Salpha Energy Limited is a dynamic, profit-driven social enterprise dedicated to transforming lives through honest, reliable off-grid solar products. We are expanding our footprint and currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier & Inventory Officer to join our team on Ekewuan Road, Benin City, Edo State. In this vital role, you will be the face of our brand at the branch level, ensuring seamless transactions, maintaining accurate inventory records, and delivering exceptional customer service that aligns with our mission of energy accessibility.
Key Responsibilities- Process customer purchases, handle cash, card, and credit payments accurately, and issue receipts promptly.
- Assist the branch in achieving budgeted sales and profit targets through efficient service delivery.
- Maintain accurate daily records of inventory sent to the station and track transactions on balance sheets.
- Reconcile the cash register, generate sales reports, and handle daily bank deposits.
- Cross-check items for purchase to ensure they are in pristine condition and properly handled.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy checkout station equipped with all necessary tools.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and maintain deep knowledge of company products and pricing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a cashier, inventory, or retail operations role.
- Computer savvy with strong proficiency in Google Suites and inventory management tools.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization abilities.
- Must currently reside in Benin City, Edo State, with close proximity to Ekewuan Road.
