The Smackers Limited, renowned for our vibrant flagship brand The Place Restaurant, is expanding our dynamic hospitality team. We are currently looking for a versatile, intelligent, and energetic Cashier / Cook with a passion for delivering outstanding service in Yenagoa, Bayelsa. Key Responsibilities- Greet customers warmly, provide attentive service, and resolve any complaints or inquiries swiftly and professionally.
- Accurately process sales transactions, record orders, and issue correct receipts to customers.
- Maintain impeccable standards of personal and kitchen hygiene in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of our menu items and utilize suggestive selling techniques to boost sales.
- Prepare both local and intercontinental dishes with keen attention to detail and recipe standards.
- Minimum of an SSCE or OND qualification.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience working in the food, restaurant, or hospitality industry as a Cashier, Cook, or Chef.
- Working knowledge of local Nigerian cooking techniques and intercontinental food preparation.
- Strong understanding of kitchen sanitation principles and food safety practices.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Must currently reside or be willing to relocate to Yenagoa, Bayelsa.
