About the Role
Edo Heritage Hotel Benin City, a premier four-star luxury establishment, is looking for a dedicated and meticulous Food and Beverage Cashier to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will serve as a critical control point for our restaurant and bush bar operations, ensuring seamless financial transactions and exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities- Process cash, POS, and transfer payments accurately for all restaurant and bush bar orders.
- Strictly match every POS receipt with the corresponding customer bill to prevent revenue leakages.
- Monitor daily transactions involving waiters, waitresses, and bartenders to ensure every order has a valid bill.
- Maintain approved cashier floats, secure hotel funds, and perform accurate end-of-shift cash balancing.
- Enforce strict compliance regarding unauthorized discounts, complimentary items, and voided bills without managerial approval.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive daily F&B reconciliation and end-of-shift reports.
- Minimum of OND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Cashier, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Exceptional numerical skills with high attention to detail and zero tolerance for discrepancies.
- Proficiency in using hotel billing software and POS terminal operations.
- Strong integrity, honesty, and ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
