About the Role
Smart Class Hotel & Suite, in partnership with Wertvoll Consulting Services, is seeking a diligent, professional, and customer-focused Cashier to join our dynamic team in Aji-Enugu Ezike, Igbo-Eze North LGA, Enugu State. In this role, you will be the face of our financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, secure handling of funds, and a welcoming experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all cash, POS, and electronic transactions accurately and efficiently using the hotel property management system.
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service during check-in, check-out, and general inquiries.
- Reconcile daily cash drawers, balance financial ledgers, and generate comprehensive end-of-shift sales reports.
- Handle guest complaints or billing queries professionally and escalate complex issues to the management team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure cash desk area in compliance with all hotel financial policies.
- Minimum of OND, NCE, or SSCE qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Cashier, Front Desk Agent, or Teller, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
- Strong numerical accuracy, high integrity, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and hotel management software or POS systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for hospitality.
