About the Role
Elysium Lagos is a premier fine dining establishment located in the heart of Lekki Phase One, catering to the discerning tastes of Lagos residents. Housing a dynamic cafe, lounge, garden restaurant, and fine dining section, we create an enchanting ambience of earthy magic paired with rejuvenating meals. As we continue to expand, we are currently seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and professional Cashier to join our growing hospitality family and ensure seamless financial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all cash, credit, and digital payment transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming first and last impression as they interact with our front-of-house team.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring precise balancing of daily receipts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure checkout counter area in compliance with establishment standards.
- Collaborate closely with the floor managers, servers, and kitchen staff to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies promptly.
- Generate daily sales and transaction reports for management review.
- Adhere strictly to all company financial policies, cash handling procedures, and safety protocols.
- Minimum of a OND, SSCE, or equivalent relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a cashier, preferably within the hospitality, restaurant, or luxury service sector.
- Exceptional numerical accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in operating POS software and handling various payment gateways.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must reside in or around Lekki Phase One or be willing to commute reliably.
