About the Role
Runs and Trails Enterprises is a reputable retail brand committed to providing essential home and commercial appliances. Since our establishment on September 2, 2009, we have built a strong reputation for quality products and excellent customer service. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Cashier to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process cash, POS, bank transfers, and other customer payment methods accurately.
- Record all sales transactions and issue proper receipts to customers in a timely manner.
- Balance cash drawers and POS terminal transactions at the end of every business shift.
- Maintain accurate daily records of all sales and financial payments.
- Assist walk-in customers with general payment-related enquiries and basic information.
- Ensure that the cash register, counter, and immediate work area are kept clean and organized.
- Report any financial discrepancies or transaction errors immediately to the supervisor.
- Support other front-office and store-related activities when required by management.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and safety.
- Minimum of an OND in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous working experience as a cashier or in a similar customer-facing retail role is a strong advantage.
- Good numerical aptitude and excellent record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in operating POS terminals and handling cash with high accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Ability to work effectively and maintain composure in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Must reside within Mushin, Papa Ajao, Ladipo, or immediate environs.
