Lock and Sum Consulting is proud to partner with CNC, an exciting new fine dining Afro-fusion restaurant launching in Jos, Plateau State. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our dynamic Front of House team. Key Responsibilities- Manage all cash, credit, and digital transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Greet restaurant guests warmly and provide a welcoming first and last impression of the dining establishment.
- Handle daily cash drawers, balance register floats, and reconcile end-of-day sales reports with precision.
- Collaborate closely with the front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest billing and service flow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure checkout counter and reception area.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve billing discrepancies promptly, and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Minimum of OND, SSCE, or relevant academic qualification from a recognized institution.
- Proven working experience as a cashier, front desk officer, or in a customer-facing financial role, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Exceptional numerical skills and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in operating POS systems and basic office productivity tools.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient in a fast-paced dining environment.
