About the Role
Aztec Microfinance Bank Limited is a Tier 1 Unit-Based Microfinance Bank licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria. Since commencing operations in June 2022, we have maintained the highest standards of financial security, with all deposits fully insured by the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC). We are seeking a professional Cashier to support our growing operations and contribute to our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process customer payments accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, POS, and alternative payment transactions with precision
- Issue receipts and maintain comprehensive transaction records
- Reconcile daily sales and cash collections to ensure accuracy
- Verify all cash and payment documentation for proper accounting
- Deliver outstanding customer service and support to all clients
- Collaborate effectively with restaurant, bar, and management teams
- Perform additional cashier-related duties as assigned
- HND or Bachelor's Degree qualification
- 1–2 years of proven cashier experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurant, lounge, or hotel environments
- Strong proficiency in cash handling and POS system operations
- Excellent numerical ability and meticulous record-keeping skills
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and trustworthiness
- Outstanding communication and customer-service capabilities
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in fast-paced settings
- Professional appearance and presentation standards
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
