About the Role

XEJet, a premier privately owned Nigerian airline offering an exclusive private-jet experience on commercial routes, is expanding its esteemed Flight Operations team. We are actively seeking experienced, highly skilled, and safety-focused aviation professionals to join our dynamic operations as Captains on the CRJ 200 aircraft. Based at the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA2) in Lagos, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards of safety, luxury, and operational excellence across key domestic destinations including Abuja, Kano, and Port Harcourt.

Key Responsibilities
  • Command and operate the CRJ 200 safely and efficiently during all phases of flight in strict compliance with Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations (Nig. CARs), company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and internal operational policies.
  • Conduct comprehensive flight planning, including thorough weather assessments, precise fuel planning, aircraft performance calculations, and operational risk evaluations.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the flight and cabin crew by actively promoting effective Crew Resource Management (CRM), operational discipline, and unwavering adherence to safety protocols.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all flight and technical documentation, promptly reporting any operational occurrences, safety hazards, or aircraft defects through established channels.
  • Participate fully in recurrent training programs, simulator sessions, line checks, and proficiency assessments while maintaining all mandatory licences, medical certifications, and operational competencies.

Qualifications
  • Hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) and a valid Class One Medical Certificate.
  • Possess a current CRJ 200 Type Rating, a valid Instrument Rating, and a valid Radiotelephony Licence.
  • Demonstrate ICAO English Language Proficiency at Level 4 or higher.
  • Minimum of 4,000 total flight hours, with at least 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours specifically on the CRJ 200 aircraft type.
  • Previous proven experience in scheduled commercial airline operations will be considered a distinct advantage.
