About the Role

Women Grains and Growth Initiative (WGI) is a women-led, community-driven organization dedicated to improving the livelihoods, health, and well-being of vulnerable populations, particularly women, girls, and youth, through sustainable development programs in Borno and Yobe states. As part of our commitment to transparency and efficiency, WGI is updating its procurement database and invites eligible companies, contractors, and service providers to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the supply of goods and provision of services across various specialized categories.

Key Responsibilities

Selected providers must uphold WGI's safeguarding principles, comply with anti-fraud policies, and provide transparent documentation for all supplied items and rendered services across categories ranging from ICT equipment and office supplies to logistics, medical supplies, and construction services.

Interested vendors must meet the following mandatory eligibility criteria to be considered for prequalification:

  • Valid Certificate of Incorporation or Business Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
  • Valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) and updated Tax Clearance Certificate.
  • Comprehensive company profile detailing relevant industry experience, past client references, and operational capacity.
  • Evidence of technical and financial capacity, including an active corporate bank account and bank reference letter.
  • Signed compliance agreement with WGI's Code of Conduct, Safeguarding, and Anti-Fraud policies.
  • Valid means of identification for authorized company representatives or directors.

Benefits

Partnership with WGI offers businesses the opportunity to collaborate with a reputable humanitarian and development organization, expand market reach within Northeast Nigeria, and contribute to impactful community resilience and sustainable development initiatives. WGI strongly encourages women-owned businesses, youth-owned enterprises, and local vendors based in Borno and Yobe to apply.
