About the Role
Castville Solutions is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Cabinet Design Architect / Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will translate client requirements and architectural drawings into precise, manufacturable cabinet designs, acting as the crucial bridge between sales, engineering, and production.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive cabinet and millwork designs for kitchens, wardrobes, and commercial spaces from client briefs and architectural drawings.
- Produce detailed shop drawings, cut lists, and CNC-ready nesting files using industry-standard CAD and cabinet design software.
- Conduct site measurements and collaborate with sales teams to ensure designs meet spatial conditions and client expectations.
- Coordinate with production and quality control teams to optimize material use, resolve manufacturing constraints, and review prototypes.
- Maintain a standardized library of cabinet modules and stay updated on modern woodworking trends and hardware innovations.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in cabinet design, millwork, or joinery within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software and cabinet-specific design tools such as Mozaik Software, PolyBoard, or SketchUp.
- In-depth knowledge of wood-based panel materials like MDF and plywood, alongside CNC manufacturing tolerances.
- Exceptional spatial reasoning, communication skills, and the ability to solve complex production challenges.
