About the Role
Covenant Foundation Schools (CFS), Abuja is a reputable, private educational institution established in 2009 that provides a comprehensive, 21st-century standard curriculum across multiple academic levels. Our group spans Crèche, Nursery, Primary, and Secondary school education with a dual focus on academic excellence, deep moral upstanding, diligence, and integrity. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Business Studies Teacher to join our dynamic secondary school team in Abuja.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective Business Studies lessons to secondary school students in alignment with the approved Nigerian and British curricula.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching aids, and learning materials that cater to diverse student learning styles.
- Assess, monitor, and record students progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
- Foster a disciplined, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and active participation.
- Participate actively in school-events, staff meetings, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Instil core values of integrity, diligence, and high moral standards in line with the foundational ethos of the school.
- Possession of a Bachelor degree in Education (B.Ed), B.Sc in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven teaching experience handling Business Studies at the secondary school level.
- Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is an added advantage.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in integrating modern educational technology and ICT tools into daily classroom instruction.
