About the Role
Living Treasure Academy, a premier private Christian educational institution located in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, is seeking a passionate and qualified Business Studies Teacher to join our dynamic secondary school faculty. In this role, you will inspire students by delivering comprehensive lessons in commerce, bookkeeping, entrepreneurship, and basic business principles, all while upholding our core Christian values. Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons aligned with the approved Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Foster a disciplined, supportive, and interactive Christian learning environment that encourages critical thinking and active participation.
- Integrate modern teaching aids and practical business examples to make complex financial and commercial concepts accessible to students.
- Participate actively in school extracurricular activities, staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (NCE or relevant professional certifications are also welcome).
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience in a recognized primary or secondary school setting.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum for Business Studies and Commercial subjects.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
