The Lamb Academy is a newly established, world-class institution located along the Lotto/Shimawa Road in Mowe, dedicated to providing a well-rounded education within a safe and secure environment. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join our esteemed faculty and inspire the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare, and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of secondary school students. Utilize ICT tools and modern pedagogical techniques to enhance classroom instruction and student engagement. Prepare students effectively for local and international examinations, including IGCSE, by setting rigorous assessments and providing constructive feedback. Monitor, evaluate, and report on student academic progress, attendance, and personal development in line with school policies. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enrich the business and entrepreneurial curriculum. Maintain a positive, safe, and productive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and active participation. Participate in school-wide extracurricular activities, meetings, and professional development programs.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed) in Business Education, Economics, or a related field from a reputable institution
- Possession of a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or a Master's degree will be a strong added advantage
- Must be a registered member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN)
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant post-qualification teaching experience, preferably within an international or high-standard school setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in using ICT to drive interactive learning and administrative tasks
- Working knowledge and teaching experience of the IGCSE curriculum is highly desirable
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
