About the Role

We are currently looking for a dynamic and field-oriented Business Relationship Manager to expand our footprint in Bauchi, driving sustainable growth through trusted merchant relationships and localized financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, visit, and onboard prospective merchants through proactive field engagement and local trade community outreach.
- Educate business owners on Moniepoint's suite of products, recommending tailored solutions for their operational and growth goals.
- Achieve and exceed monthly targets for active merchant onboarding, POS terminal deployment, loan disbursements, and repayments.
- Oversee end-to-end merchant onboarding while ensuring accurate KYC documentation and strict adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with merchants to maximize account activity, transaction volume, and retention.
- Gather local market intelligence and competitor activity, providing actionable feedback to field leadership.
- Bachelor's degree, HND, or OND from a recognized tertiary institution.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on sales experience in banking, fintech, payment services, or commercial environments.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets in merchant onboarding, field sales, or client acquisition.
- Deep understanding of the financial services landscape and regional trading dynamics in Bauchi.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software for field tracking and pipeline management is an added advantage.
