About the Role
Golden Oil Industries Limited is a trusted household name in Nigeria's edible oil industry, dedicated to providing healthy cooking oils and quality agricultural by-products since 1988. We are currently seeking a smart, highly organised, and data-driven Business Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic Head Office team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the effective coordination, monitoring, and reporting of our plantation operations. While agricultural expertise is not required, your ability to manage multiple workstreams, analyze data, and turn information into actionable business insights will drive our continued success.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and track plantation activities, schedules, and operational targets against key performance indicators.
- Maintain accurate trackers, calendars, and management dashboards for all ongoing operations.
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze operational data from various field sites and internal teams.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly management reports for executive leadership and the CEO.
- Identify delays, gaps, inconsistencies, and operational risks, ensuring prompt escalation and resolution.
- Follow up proactively with internal teams to guarantee pending actions are completed on schedule.
- Track the usage, availability, and cost of key operational inputs, materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate seamless information flow between Head Office and remote field operations teams.
- Leverage AI tools and digital solutions to enhance reporting accuracy, analysis, and overall workplace productivity.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in business operations, project coordination, supply chain, reporting, or data analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining professional reports, trackers, and management dashboards.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Outstanding organizational, communication, and multi-tasking abilities with a strong follow-up culture.
- Familiarity and comfort working with modern AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.
- Ability to work independently, take complete ownership, and proactively solve operational bottlenecks.
