About the Role
AMO Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited, a market leader in the Day Old Chicks and poultry sector, is seeking a dedicated and analytical Assistant Fleet Manager. In this role, you will support the Fleet Manager in optimizing vehicle availability, ensuring roadworthiness, and driving cost efficiency across our operational fleet to support our nationwide agricultural operations.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor vehicle availability, operational status, and daily utilization for dispatch, staff transit, and field operations.
- Coordinate routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs with external workshops and vendors.
- Track and analyze fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure 100% compliance with vehicle documentation, insurance, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor GPS tracking systems to investigate unauthorized movements and enforce safe driving policies.
- Maintain accurate digital records and generate comprehensive weekly and monthly fleet performance reports.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Transport Management, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation operations.
- Prior experience in agriculture, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in fleet tracking software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
