About the Role

We are currently recruiting a dynamic and commercially astute Business Manager on behalf of our client, a premier property management company in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing comprehensive property operations, driving financial performance, enhancing tenant satisfaction, and supporting the sustainable expansion of the company's portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, high occupancy rates, and exceptional client retention across all properties.
  • Manage end-to-end property operations encompassing facilities management, maintenance, security, and estate services.
  • Oversee financial administration including rent and service charge billings, collections, budgeting, and comprehensive financial reporting.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with tenants, residents, vendors, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Supervise property improvement, renovation, and development projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian property laws, lease agreements, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Identify operational risks, implement cost-saving initiatives, and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Provide visionary leadership to multidisciplinary teams, monitoring operational and financial KPIs to ensure peak performance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Estate Management, Property Management, or a related discipline.
  • Possession of a Master's Degree (e.g., MBA) will be considered a distinct advantage.
  • 5 to 8 years of proven experience in property management, estate management, or multi-site operations, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management, budgeting, debt collection, vendor management, and regulatory compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian property laws and tenancy regulations.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as RICS, IFMA, PMP, or equivalent are highly preferred.
