About the Role
HR Aid Consults provides professional Human Resource advisory and consulting services designed to help small businesses optimize their workforce. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our team in Nigeria and spearhead our market expansion efforts by acquiring new clients and scaling our service portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key industries including Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, FMCG, Power, and Telecommunications.
- Develop and implement strategic annual and quarterly business development plans to achieve aggressive revenue targets.
- Generate qualified leads through cold outreach, networking, industry events, and digital platforms.
- Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, capability statements, and tender responses in collaboration with technical teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers to foster long-term client retention.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate weekly and monthly reports using the company CRM.
- Conduct competitor analysis and track emerging procurement opportunities across the private and public sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven experience in B2B sales and business development, preferably within consulting or corporate services.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with a demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software, proposal writing, and tender management processes.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian business landscape and corporate market dynamics.
