About the Role

We are currently looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager, Retail, to join our energetic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in expanding our retail footprint, building strong client relationships, and driving the adoption of our broad range of banking services.
Key Responsibilities- Drive aggressive retail banking sales and achieve assigned targets for liability generation, asset acquisition, and product penetration.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the retail segment to expand the bank market share.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing retail customers to ensure high retention and cross-selling of bank products.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored financial solutions that meet the unique needs of individual consumers.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer demands.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review, highlighting achievements and strategic growth areas.
- Minimum of 1 year of proven banking sales experience in the Nigerian financial sector.
- Current employment grade of Banking Officer (BO) and below.
- Demonstrated track record as a strong sales performer with an exceptional drive for business growth.
- Possession of a Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of retail banking products, services, and market dynamics.
