About the Role

Debyl Limited is an established indigenous Nigerian engineering and infrastructure contractor operating since 1991. We specialize in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation & Commissioning (EPCIC), asset integrity management, and technical maintenance primarily servicing the oil and gas, construction, and petrochemical sectors. We are currently seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth, foster strategic partnerships, and expand our footprint within Nigeria's energy industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure profitable new business opportunities across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations in the Nigerian oil and gas market.
  • Build, nurture, and maintain strong, lasting relationships with International Oil Companies (IOCs), National Oil Companies (NOCs), and other key industry stakeholders.
  • Lead the end-to-end tendering process, proposal development, and complex contract negotiations to close high-value deals.
  • Monitor evolving industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to proactively inform and adjust business strategy.
  • Represent Debyl Limited at high-profile industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to strengthen brand visibility and market reputation.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline; an MBA is considered a strong advantage.
  • 7 to 10 years of proven, verifiable experience in business development and sales within the Nigerian oil and gas or EPCIC sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian oil and gas industry regulations, NOGICD Act, and local content requirements.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, presentation, and high-level networking skills.
  • A proven track record of successfully securing and executing contracts with major energy industry players.
