About the Role

We are currently looking for a strategic and tactical Business Development Manager to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and market expansion across enterprise and government sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Lead market expansion, upselling, and strategic growth initiatives to drive sustainable revenue and profitability.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, target markets, and potential enterprise or government clients.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans aligned with overall company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and clients to facilitate cross-selling and strategic alliances.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and industry research, converting them through compelling value propositions.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and agreements while assessing and mitigating risks associated with new ventures.
- Collaborate with internal marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
- Provide regular analysis and reporting to management on business development activities, sales target achievements, and market trends.
- Minimum of 8 years of cognate experience in a strategic, supervisory, or management capacity leading sales, marketing, or public relations teams within the ICT industry.
- A minimum of a Graduate-level Degree; an MBA would be an added advantage.
- Proven track record of working with enterprise and government organizations in Nigeria.
- Deep understanding of IT products, cloud computing, software, hardware, and emerging technologies.
- Strong financial management, market research, and project management skills.
