We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive customer acquisition, farmer activation, transaction growth, and seamless field execution across our operating locations. Key Responsibilities
  • Drive aggressive customer acquisition and farmer onboarding strategies across designated operating regions.
  • Execute grassroots engagement plans to ensure high rates of farmer activation and active participation in our marketplace.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, fostering strong partnerships with cooperatives, local leaders, and agricultural communities.
  • Oversee daily field operations to guarantee smooth execution of trade and finance programs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and operational bottlenecks to propose actionable growth solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to scale transaction volumes and improve overall service delivery.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development, customer acquisition, or field operations, preferably within the agricultural or financial sector.
  • Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with rural communities and corporate stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated track record of executing field strategies and meeting growth targets.
  • Strong understanding of financial inclusion, commodities markets, and value chain development in Nigeria.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and resilience in fast-paced operational environments.
