Key Responsibilities- Manage a dedicated portfolio of customers with active and overdue loans.
- Conduct regular in-person visits to customer locations for payment follow-ups and reminders.
- Ensure the timely recovery of outstanding loan repayments to maintain portfolio health.
- Engage customers firmly and professionally to reinforce repayment obligations.
- Identify high-risk accounts and escalate them to management where necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all field interactions, payment promises, and recovery progress.
- Collaborate closely with internal risk and operations teams to improve overall portfolio performance.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in collections, field operations, or credit recovery, preferably within the fintech or microfinance sector.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
- High level of confidence, resilience, and emotional intelligence.
- Exceptional ability to handle difficult conversations while maintaining professionalism and brand integrity.
- Willingness and physical stamina to spend significant time operating out in the field.
