About the Role
Fadac Resources is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Lead to join our growing team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the adoption of our specialized cooperative society management software. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting cooperative societies, thrift societies, credit unions, and related financial organizations into valued clients, ensuring sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, research, and target cooperative societies, thrift societies, unions, and similar organizations to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Generate high-quality leads through strategic networking events, industry association meetings, referrals, and digital platforms.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and present the unique value proposition of our software to key decision-makers.
- Develop, customize, and deliver tailored commercial proposals addressing the specific operational needs of each prospective organization.
- Discuss and finalize commercial terms including payment plans, contract durations, volume packages, and onboarding schedules within company guidelines.
- Build and maintain long-term, professional client relationships to drive high retention rates, renewals, and valuable referrals.
- Collaborate closely with product, technical, and support teams to guarantee seamless client onboarding and a smooth post-sale handover.
- Track, analyze, and report on daily sales activities, pipeline progression, and monthly revenue forecasts.
- Provide actionable market feedback to internal teams to support continuous product enhancement and optimized sales strategies.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in business development, B2B sales, or SaaS/software sales within the Nigerian market.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding aggressive revenue and sales targets.
- Prior experience selling technology solutions to cooperative societies, microfinance institutions, or community-based organizations is a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional verbal, written communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven proficiency in contract negotiation and deal closing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and modern CRM tools.
